Kimberley Alpine Resort to Host Para Alpine Skiing World Cup
Kimberley, B.C – at Kimberley Alpine Resort we’re honoured to be the host resort for the 2018 Para Alpine Skiing World Cup, this is the last chance for the athletes to qualify for the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. Come to Kimberley Alpine Resort in February and cheer on Team Canada!
As skiing is a great spectator sport, bring the kids for a field trip to the resort – they’ll be awed and inspired by the para athlete’s strength and determination, there’s a variety of training runs and races to watch over 4 days. For more information visit our events page.
Kimberley Alpine Resort is the second RCR resort to host a World Cup this season with the Nakiska Ski Cross World Cup finishing up on Saturday, January 20th. Kimberley Alpine Resort is home to the only Paralympic Training Centre in Canada where athletes can train in downhill skiing, hockey, nordic skiing & wheelchair curling.
The Para Alpine Skiing World Cup at Kimberley Alpine Resort will run from February 8th – 11th. Want to watch live, but can’t make it out? The event will be streaming live online.
