History Tour of North Star Mountain
Kimberley Alpine Resort and the town of Kimberley have an extensive history. Come enjoy an “on mountain” historical tour at no cost. You will learn about the history of North Star Mountain and the town of Kimberley. Tours will be roughly 2 hours long and on snow/mountain.
Do you know how “Schoolhouse Run” got its name? Do you know that many of the runs on the Mountain are named after mining claims? Do you know how North Star Mountain came to be?
