The Kimberley Alpine Resort Winter Sports School instructors are passionate instructors who love the mountains, skiing and snowboarding.
Our Winter Sports School and all of our certified pros are committed to Safety, Fun and Learning! Whether you're going to learn to ski or snowboard at 3 or 93, or just looking to improve your current skills, we are dedicated to developing your skiing or boarding skills and provide you with the best winter sports recreational learning experience possible! We guarantee it!

Telus Learn 2 Ski or Snowboard Lesson Packages are your best value to learn to ski or snowboard. Targeted directly at FIRST TIME to NOVICE skiers and boarders for ages 5 & up & abilities 1 to 3. Participants are grouped with peers of similar ages & abilities to promote a fun group environment. All lessons include rentals for the day and an Owl area lift pass for the day.

TIGERS LESSONS

Includes: Lesson & Magic Carpet Lift Pass
45 min - 1 hr Lessons

For the smaller learners and their physical abilities. Our high energy children’s instructors will use fun games and skill development exercises to have your Little Tiger skiing in no time! Tigers Private lessons include Magic Carpet Lift Pass.

Tigers Private Lessons: One on one lessons & individual attention, to fast-track your Little Tiger learning how to ski or have them challenge more of the mountain! (Please note if your child is challenging more of the mountain, a lift ticket will be required)

Lesson start times: 9:00 AM or 12:30 PM (Daycare Tigers taught only at 12:30 pm)

Participants are grouped with peers of similar ages & abilities to promote a fun group environment.

Fun, Games & Learning! Your Children will be split by age & ability level then our high energy / enthusiastic instructors use Guided Discovery Teaching Methods to develop fundamental skills for your child to become an accomplished skier or boarder. Your kids will make new friends and leave excited for their next lesson.

DAILY PRIVATE COACHING

Private coaching is the ultimate option to improve your skiing or boarding skills. Our top pros will customize your private lesson for your age & ability level. We are here to answer your questions and help you reach your personal performance goals. From 3 to 93 we offer a wide variety of private lessons, come by the WSS Cabin or call the Winter Sports School Team to custom tailor a PRIVATE COACHING SESSION to fit your budget. Our private coaching session prices are inclusive to 3 people (all should be of similar ability levels) with an additional cost for extra participants for larger semi private coaching sessions.

Days taught: Daily – 1 hr / 1.5 hr / 2 hr / 3 hr / 6 hr
Lesson start times: Any time from 8:30 am & 3:00 pm.
Ability levels: 1 to 6
Teacher/student ratio: 1:1 to 1:3 max (Except promotional private lessons TBD by promotional offer)

Description: Kimberley Alpine Resort Winter Sports School is pleased to offer “First Tracks Private Tours”. First Tracks Private Tours will give you EXCLUSIVE access to the untouched Purcell powder or our perfectly groomed corduroy a full 45 min ahead of the public. Led by our top ski & snowboard pros, they will guide you to the best powder stashes on the mountain or the freshly groomed runs and along the way help you improve your skiing or snowboarding skills!
