We are stoked to kick off the winter season with the #1 ski movie of 2025 by Matchstick Productions, After the Snowfall, on Friday, November 28 at the Kimberley Conference Centre.

This is more than just a movie night. Get ready to hoot, holler, and celebrate the return of winter with a room full of energized and passionate ski and board enthusiasts. Tickets sell out every year, so grab yours early online to save some $$.  This is a fundraiser for the Kimberley Search and Rescue, Kimberley Volunteer Ski Patrol, and the Kimberley Alpine Team.

Come early to the Ski Movie!
Doors open at 6 pm with plenty to see and do:

• Check out the latest ski and board gear from Paranormal Skis, Icelantic Skis, United Shapes, Beringia, and K2 Skis. Slopeside Design will be showcasing their beautiful handcrafted wooden topographic maps made right here in Kimberley.

• Watch short films in the ballroom from 6 to 7 pm featuring independent ski shorts, bloopers, and more

• Enjoy a fully stocked concession with hot dogs, pizza, candy, chips, cold brews, and wine

• Support the Kimberley Volunteer Ski Patrol 50/50 draw

• Take part in the Kimberley Alpine Team Wax and Tune Fundraiser. Drop off your gear at the west side of the Conference Centre from 5 to 9 pm on the 28th or during the Ski Swap on Saturday, November 29 from 8 am. Skis and boards will be tuned by experienced coaches and racers for a great cause

• Gear up for the Kimberley Alpine Team Ski Swap. Drop off gear Friday from 5 to 9 pm at the west side of the Conference Centre and return for the Swap on Saturday from 10 am to 1:30 pm

• Learn more about East Kootenay Adaptive Snowsports (EKAS) and their amazing work in our community

• Your movie admission includes entry into prize draws with fantastic giveaways from our local community sponsors: The Choice Shop, Black Dog Cycle and Ski, and Purcell Outdoors
