Additional Policies & Procedures

Welcome to the 2020.21 winter season!  We look forward to hosting you as our valued guest this winter and enjoying the mountains alongside you.  At this point, we all understand there will be some necessary adjustments to how our operations will be run this season.  Over the summer and the months leading up to the season, we have worked with the provincial government as well as the Canada West Ski Areas Association to put in place recommended measures and guidelines to help promote the safety of our guests and staff.

Distancing Measures & Signage

To align with our government's health and safety guidelines, we will be practicing physical distancing procedures throughout Kimberley Alpine Resort. We will be promoting maintaining 6 feet of physical distance from anyone outside of your social bubble, this will be assisted by directional and suggested distancing signage placed around our resort as well as plexiglass and other barriers.

Face Coverings

All resort guests 2 years and older will be required to wear face coverings (masks) in every part of our operations including:

  • Walking around the Resort public spaces
  • Inside all buildings
  • In lift lines, while loading, riding on, and while unloading lifts
  • During Winter Sports School lessons

The only time face coverings will not be required will be while seated and eating in our food and beverage establishments and while skiing and riding (face coverings may be removed when you begin to ski or snowboard and put back on when you arrive at the base of any lift and prior to entering the lift maze).

Health Screening

Each and every person that wishes to be at Kimberley Alpine Resort will be required to answer questions recommended by the B.C. government to maintain the overall safety of the resort property.  This includes all our staff and guests.
