We have made the following updates in accordance with changes to public health orders in the Province of British Columbia. On April 8th, the BC Government lifted certain health restrictions, including no longer requiring proof of vaccinations. Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Resort(s) of Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will follow the revised guidelines, lifting the proof of vaccination requirement at our ski resorts for the remainder of the ski season.
We remind you to be courteous and kind to all those who may wish to continue to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. Please note that we may make further changes as the situation or government updates warrant. Continue to check the resort website for the most up-to-date information.

Distancing Measures & Signage
To align with our government's health and safety guidelines, we will be practicing physical distancing procedures throughout Kimberley Alpine Resort. We will be promoting maintaining 6 feet of physical distance from anyone outside of your social bubble. Directional and distancing signage will be placed around the resort, as well as plexiglass and other barriers.
Face Coverings
Face Coverings are no longer required in indoor or outdoor settings effective Friday, March 11, 2022, we are however still highly recommending the use of masks. As an added precaution for the safety of our guests and staff we will still require all RCR staff to wear masks while on shift.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty, the pandemic has created, RCR reserves the right to amend its policies at any time.
- Revised capacities, floor markings and other measures to help ensure physical distancing
- Increased cleaning protocols, all rental equipment will be sanitized between use/guests
- Daily monitoring of all employees to ensure they are free of symptoms. All employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment and will be trained on health protocols related to COVID-19
- Continuous updates to our sanitary measures by staying up to date with government standards and recommendations
Our washrooms are another high-traffic area we will be paying extra attention to with enhanced cleaning procedures and distancing measures.
- Maximum occupancy loads based on provincial COVID-19 Guidelines,
- Barriers or closed off stalls, urinals and sinks to ensure appropriate physical distancing,
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitation program,
- Signage in washrooms to promote physical distancing, proper handwashing and waste disposal techniques.
Additional Recommendations
We recommend you take steps to protect yourself. We promote contactless payment as much as possible, regular hand sanitization and washing, staying within your social bubble and avoiding gatherings on the properties.
Remain respectful - we will not tolerate any abuse towards our staff members or other guests regarding any of these guidelines. Anyone not able to follow our recommendations will be asked to leave.
