Kimberley, B.C – Win a trip of a lifetime to Boulder Hut Adventures! All you have to do register and complete the North Star Ski-Mo race in under 2 hours on March 24th! The race will start at 11am in the Kimberley Alpine Resort Plaza. Participants will follow the skin track up Boundary to Kootenay Haus then transition and race the gates back down to the plaza. All AT-gear, splitboards and tele-mark welcome. At Kimberley Alpine Resort we support a supportive and welcoming environment, the atmosphere for this event will be extremely friendly and the race is a great way to be introduced to the sport! Dress up attire encouraged, there’s even a bonus prize for best costume. We are happy to announce the amazing donation of one half week trip to Boulder Hut Adventures in 2019, given away as a draw prize worth $1695.

Kimberley Alpine Resort is the second RCR resort to host a World Cup this season with the Nakiska Ski Cross World Cup finishing up on Saturday, January 20th. Kimberley Alpine Resort Celebrates Surrounding Community with FREE Skiing/Riding
Kimberley, B.C – at Kimberley Alpine Resort we appreciate all our neighbours from the town of Kimberley as well as the surrounding communities and once again would like to say Thank You by offering a Free day of skiing & riding to our locals.
On Sunday, January 7, 2018, locals can ski for free and get burgers for $2.00 which will be contributed to supporting Dreadnaught Ski Racing- residents can go to Guest Services and receive a voucher for their burger. TELUS Winter Sports School invites beginner skiers or snowboarders to a complimentary lesson. There will be a total of 10 ski and 10 snowboard spots available, with a 1-hour lesson starting at 10:30am. Space is limited and guests must pre-register at the Winter Sports School Cabin by calling 250.432.0315. Lessons will include a voucher for FREE equipment rentals at the Rental Shop! Please note that these lessons are for NEW skiers and snowboarders only ages 6+. A huge thank-you goes out to our BBQ sponsors including Sysco, Old Dutch and our other food sponsors.
Photo ID and proof of local residency (driver’s license, pay stub etc.) are required to receive the lift ticket. Complimentary tickets can be picked up at guest services and are available to residents of Canal Flats, Skookumchuck, Meadowbrook, TaTa Creek, Kimberley, Marysville, Wasa, Wycliffe, Moyie, Wardner and Cranbrook.
This Weekend
In addition to having most of the skiing open up on the Easter Chair, there will be additional terrain and lifts opening starting this weekend. On the front side the Main will be open top to bottom, as well as most of the runs from the top down to Canada Way and the Roller Coaster cat track.
