The Dirtbag Festival is a celebration of the lifestyle that is so close to our hearts here in Beautiful Kimberley, BC. Its a collection of film, images and stories by Dirtbags, those who are willing to sacrifice and drop at a moments notice: their jobs, their family, their income and their homes in search of adventure.
The film competition is open to short films highlighting the lifestyle, activities and places critical to sustaining dirtbaggery. The Community Show is a collection of images from local dirtbags and the cornerstone of the festival.

Live Music by Hot Muck (6:00-7:00)
Hosted by Powder Matt Mosteller.
One year, while his friends were busy getting jobs and settling down, a young Matt Mosteller spent 63 days living in his car so he could ski every day. Now, 20 years later, Mosteller has settled down a bit, but he’s still seeking outdoor adventure and his stories can be seen regularly in the Calgary Herald, Globe and Mail, Post Media network, Vancouver Sun, Avenue Magazine, WestJet Magazine, Explore Magazine, Outbound Collective and Matador Network. In addition to his blogging for brands like TenTree, WestJet and Outdoor Research to name a few. His first book, described by The Calgary Herald as “a kind of handbook for living life to the fullest,” The Adventurer’s Guide to Living a Happy Life offers 63 daily meditations to help you broaden your horizons and achieve the ‘goosebump’ moments in life (sleeping in the car is optional). Mosteller is a crusader, constantly trying to find ways to get people to outside, through his involvement as a founder in #MappyHour Canada, host of TV series, and regular segments on Global TV | tweet @powdermatt | Instagram @PowderMatt
